We as a family have an intricate set of rules for "punch buggy", the game where you call it wen you see a VW beetle, and the person who calls it gets to punch someone in the car who is playing along. If the person calls it and it turns out NOT to be a bug, then we have "false call" and we all get to punch him/her. If it is a convertible and the top is down they get a "double punch". I'm telling you, we could win a tournament for the game. We rock.
Today I found a website of "shotgun rules". Believe me, we WILL be applying these rules to our car rides with our boys. Usually this isn't too much of a problem, since we only have one car and usually travel as a family, thus I get the "mom chair" up front.
If there's a shotgun dispute, you can settle it with this simulation of rock, paper, scissors.
