Back to Normal...

... but what exactly IS normal? I've been living overseas for over five years now, and I can guarantee that my normal isn't the same as yours. The problem is that I have kind of forgotten that my life may be interesting to others. In Nicaragua, we used to have visitors all the time who constantly reminded me of how different my life was with all of their questions and wide-eyed observations. We don't get too many visitors around these parts, so I think I've comfortably adapted to my normalcy.

That is why I'm trying my hand at video blogging. I could write a three paragraph explanation or I can try a 30 second blip showing you what I'm talking about. I hope you enjoy the clips, I've got lots of ideas of things to do, so bear with me as I inundate you guys with El Carmen, Mexico!

Thanks for sharing. I find that really interesting. Do you know the words to the song "Lemon Tree" by Peter, Paul and Mary? If I lived there I'd be singing it all the time.

Aw, Jan!! Thank you for this video! I've not seen Pauline's house, and it's great to feel in a familiar place. Thank you for sharing the everyday-ness of your life!! Linda
