Potty Training

One of my best friends(and my college roommate) has written two books, and is currently working on her third. This one, "The Potty Train", is one of my favorite kids books ever. Her oldest daughter overheard her mom talking to one of her little brothers about potty training, and asked her, "Mom, did I go on the potty train?" Thus, a book idea was born. If you know anyone with children of potty training age, I highly suggest this book. You can find our more about it and listen to the author read it online at http://www.pottytrainbook.com/

Now that's clever. I enjoyed hearing the book read. I definitely want to get a copy of that when my almost 10-month old gets to that point. So... are boys really hard to potty train like everyone claims? I'm a little nervous about that.

Well, I don't have any experience potty training girls, so I don't know if it's harder or not. I DO know that it's later for boys, usually. I think they weren't even fully trained until they were three. They just weren't that interested in it, really. I think girls are more uncomfortable in wet diapers than boys, maybe?
