Date Nights

When we were newly married and with little kids, it wasn't so hard for us to get a babysitter and take off for a date night. We were running a campus ministry full of baby-sitters. Now that our kids are older, we are faced with more challenges like working around their schedules, as well as our busy schedules. Last night we grabbed a couple of hours and went into San Nicolas for a nice relaxing dinner together.

The restaurant we chose is called VIPS, which is owned by Wal-mart. It's kind of funny to see waitresses walking around with their Wal-mart employee tags on. Anyways, if you ever are in Mexico and get a chance to visit a VIPS, you won't be surprised by the customer service and excellent food. The best had to be the banana crepes filled with cream cheese, smothered in caramel, and served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

Sounds like fun! Judd and I had a date to a college basketball game. (In an actual arena, which they did NOT have when I went to school there.) It was really fun!
