Well, then there's THIS test...

On Tuesday morning as I was washing dishes, I noticed there was quite a bit of dust blowing around outside. Within an hour, we were facing Category 1 Hurricane winds, only without the rain. That lasted throughout the day, until around 10 that night. It took out trees, roofs, and wreaked havoc everywhere. It was quite scary! I stood outside observing a fallen tree, and a rock blew off the roof and banged me in the head. That's when I realized being outside was NOT the safe thing to do!

Well, it is now Thursday afternoon. We still don't have power at home, but we haven't lost water, thank God. Today, obviously, we had internet restored at our offices, so we are thankful to be back in touch with the rest of the world.

Glad you're ok, but I sure thought being from Florida you'd have realized being outside was probably a bad idea before the rock hit you in the head...just saying....

Sounds like you had a bit of an 'Isaac Newton' moment there.

Glad you weren't hurt!
