American Consulate visit

Had to go to the Consulate yesterday since our boys' passports expired, um, yesterday. I can't believe we waited so long! My only experience with that place thus far was with our students, and the visa application process is tense, tons of people, and run very machine-like for the amount of people they have to process every day. Our experience yesterday was much better, and I just thought I would share that it was nice to go into a government office, have people smiling and being super-nice, and to feel like I wasn't part of a cattle herd. (Unlike going for your driver's license or something like that!)

Kudos to the staff of the U.S. Consulate in Monterrey!
