The dollar is still strong here...

We crossed the border in August after a six week vacation, and the first thing to greet us was the peso/dollar exchange sign, saying that we could only get 9.5 pesos per dollar. This was a huge bummer to us, coming back with dollars to exchange and having never seen such low rates. Since then, though, we have seen the dollar creeping back into more manageable exchanges for us. Yesterday, however, it closed at 12.70. This is huge, and really good for us!

SO, if you are looking into traveling to Mexico right now is a good time. Things are better for us, worse for the Mexicans. At last, some good news for our economy!
