Blogging while sick

... I know it's been a while since I've blogged, but I've been pretty dang sick! Basically, since that last post, I have been in bed. I was knocked down for a week thinking it was dengue or something because of a high fever and chills, but then vomiting started and I got dehydrated. I ended up in the hospital for three days with a conclusive diagnosis of Hepatitis A. This type of hep is transmitted by food, someone who was infected went to the bathroom, didn't wash their hand, and prepared my food. I have no idea where I would have contracted it, and I'll probably never know, but the thought is so icky!
I'm getting better, though. Last night I left my house and went out for tacos. It made me really tired to converse with people, and I was definitely ready to get to bed once I got home, but it did feel good to get out.
Just wanted to let bloggerland know that I haven't forgotten my blog! I'll write about the Mexican hospital experience in the next few days.
