This weekend will be the Academy Awards, and my favorite movie is up for "Best Picture". I think Slumdog Millionaire has a shot at winning, and I think it deserves it. I can't really express what it is about the film that captured my heart. I think it may be the hope, the humor, and the goodness of the main character despite terrible circumstances? The story is creative and entertaining, something I'm glad to see in a movie instead of pushing some political agenda. The Bollywood dance at the end was the icing on the cake. If you haven't seen the movie, please do! You won't regret it.

I haven 't seen it. I ususally don 't go to movie theaters, but if I get a DVD I 'll watch it.
