Wow Jan, we have lots of similar looking cacti but have to make sure they are not poisonous. Our lemon trees are spilke too. Like your coat.
I think I might have tried cactus juice once, and could I have had a salad with nopales and a mayo-type dressing? I surely remember seeing them at the street vendors who made fruit juices and water drinks.
